Hello, loves!

Let me introduce myself… I’m Brandi.

I am an open hearted, empath, a faith driven, crunchy, modern homesteader Mom to two handsome boys named Maddux and Prescott, married to my soul mate, Wayne. I am a holistic yogi mama, wellness junkie, mompreneur, cut-flower and microgreens farmer, just trying to live my most aligned life!

I am a Women’s Wellness and Perinatal aka Mom Coach and Yoga teacher. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years, including time as a High Risk OB Ultrasound tech. Which is where my passion for helping women and moms was created. It gave me a deep appreciation for not only women, but life it’s self. My newest passion is growing things! Flowers, veggies, and microgreens have been keeping me busy and I am excited to share these gorgeous and healthy greens with others! And it has been such an amazing hobby to do with my whole family!

I have been coaching clients for the past 4 years guiding and inspiring them to balance their mind, body and soul, guided by the self-created Balancebuilding Philosophy. Even taking some clients as far as finding their purpose in life. I love leading meditations and teaching pre and postnatal yoga.

I have created the Balancebuilding Philosophy, that I have personally lived by, for the last 6 years. Balancebuilding was born after going on my own journey of finding balance, peace and self worth after being at my lowest point. At rock bottom, I was in a toxic relationship that left me emotionally damaged and questioning my self worth. At this time I was also at the top of the Bodybuilding game placing 7th at a National Level show in the NPC Figure Division. That was the one thing I could control in my life so I immersed myself in it. But what no one could see was the physical, mental and emotional damage that the years of extreme dieting had done. I had a binge eating disorder, anxiety and depression, my life revolved on perfecting my body to look amazing on the outside while the inside was screaming for help. Balance was not in my vocabulary at that time. I was an all or nothing personality that did not know middle ground. But as time went on my body wasn’t responding to anything I was doing and my mental status was far from healthy. Something had to change. I decided to focus on my well being from the inside out. After leaving the toxic relationship I was in and taking my mind, body and soul on a 180 degree, year long journey, I worked hard to retrain how I thought, how I ate, and how I treated my body. Balance can be harder to achieve than it sounds, and it takes work everyday, which is why I named this journey, Balancebuilding. But when you start focusing on following what truly lights your soul up, your body follows and shines as bright as you feel.

Being a mom now, I realize how important it is to have balance, how delicate we have to approach healing and how important self care really is for a mom’s well being. I created the Balancebuilding Philosophy for the person I used to be, the extreme bodybuilder, but looking back I also created it for the new mom I would be, the stay at home working mom I would be, the working mom I would be and the mom that has recently struggled with recurrent pregnancy loss. My passion is to support women and mothers who are struggling to become more balanced physically, mentally, emotionally, and soulfully. I want to help women through each season of life, making the challenging parts more easily navigated. It is never too late to start healing and I am here to give you the tools you need to start now!
