Let me introduce myself… I’m Brandi.
I am an open hearted, empath, a faith driven, crunchy, modern Mom to a handsome baby boy, Maddux, a holistic housewife, wellness junkie, mompreneur, living as toxic free as possible, eating more plant based these days (inspired by Maddux’s food allergies) and just living my best life!
I am a Board Certified Holistic Life Coach, Personal Trainer, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years. I have been working with clients for the past 2 years guiding and inspiring them to free their mind, body and soul of the dieting mentality all by the self-created Balancebuilding Philosophy. Even taking some clients as far as finding their purpose in life. I love leading meditations and also educating clients on how to incorporate essential oils into their wellness plans.
I have created the Balancebuilding Philosophy, that I have personally lived by, for the last 3 years. Balancebuilding was born after going on my own journey of finding balance, peace and self worth after being at my lowest point. At rock bottom, I was in a toxic relationship that left me emotionally damaged and questioning my self worth. At this time I was also at the top of the Bodybuilding game placing 7th at a National Level show in the NPC Figure Division. That was the one thing I could control in my life so I immersed myself in it. But what no one could see was the physical, mental and emotional damage that the years of extreme dieting had done. I had a binge eating disorder, anxiety and depression, my life revolved on perfecting my body to look amazing on the outside while the inside was screaming for help. Balance was not in my vocabulary at that time. I was an all or nothing personality that did not know middle ground. But as time went on my body wasn’t responding to anything I was doing. Something had to change. After leaving the toxic relationship I was in and taking my mind, body and soul on a 180 degree, year long journey, I worked hard to retrain how I thought, how I ate, and how I treated my body. Balance can be harder to achieve than it sounds, and it takes work everyday, which is why I named this journey, Balancebuilding.
I created the Balancebuilding Philosophy for the person I used to be, hoping to help someone else climb out of this, unfortunately, common, vicious cycle. I have worked hard the last couple of years putting my dream of empowering other women to reach their goals physically, while nurturing their mind, body and soul, into place. My goal for each one of my clients is for them to get to a point where they are happy and healthy physically, from the inside out, while living their best life. I DO NOT believe in extreme dieting or fad diets to reach everyday physical goals! It’s about eating real food at the right times to get the fuel you need to reach your goals and feel your best. Every wellness plan is customized to you and your lifestyle.
I have big things coming for you all in 2019! I am currently working on becoming a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor through the University of Wellness, specializing in Women’s Health including a certification in Pre and Post Natal Yoga and Pelvic Floor Recovery. I can not wait to share it with all of you!
